1.Can I use my current wheelchair on the ST&S van?

Yes. However, we would need to know what model wheelchair you currently own to design certain features to accommodate your wheelchair.

2.Why should I buy the ST&S van over the other vans available?

Our ST&S van has a wheelchair accessible bathroom which is currently not available on other vans.

3.What services do you offer for the ST&S van and its components?

Our motto is “service.” With every ST&S van we offer routine maintenance, repairs, inspection and service, as well as roadside assistance.

4.How do you dispose and service the bathroom facilities during travel?

Service is similar to the service necessary for motor homes. Roadside service areas, campgrounds, and tour bus companies have dump stations and can assist with your disposal needs.

5.What type of overhead lift system do you install on the ST&S van?

The overhead lift is a Waverly Glen or Sure Hands system that is typically used in hospital settings and in some homes to transfer from a wheelchair into bed or wheelchair onto toilet.

6.Is the van able to be driven by the wheelchair occupant?

No. At this time, the van is designed to be driven by a caretaker.

7.Could I have a docking station rather than the Q’Straint system?

Yes. There are docking systems suited for various wheelchairs.

8.Can I have more than 1 wheelchair on board?

Yes. Our ST&S van is designed to carry 2 wheelchairs, depending on individual needs.
